Hang on to your hats, actors. And your union, if you can…Even if you find it faulty, or too much about legal-mumbo-jumbo, to understand or to care about…check into the Actor Union News part of Hollywood Actor Prep every once in awhile. Here’s a link to “The Dire Situation”, as SAG VP wrote in her letter.
The fact that there are two directors, Bigelow and Cameron, who were once married, and are now divorced, AND IN CONTENTION for the same award, is not that big of a Hollywood deal either. Divorce is Hollywood’s middle name.
Here, it’s not uncommon for one of the divorced couple to leave with the whole prize, either. So if one of them wins the award (out of the five directors competing), it won’t shock anybody.

Another reason that I posted this is because it is Richard Lewis, onstage, in process. It’s not a memorized act, line-by-line. Most actors spend most of their career, on the wrong path, that will never lead them into The Industry. Won’t help them get toward an acting career, even though they think it will.
I am talking about actors who get good training somewhere, maybe even college or grad school, or may even have a good coach!
Still they don’t have a clue about what it specifically takes, to become a professional actor.
And there is no other teacher or website that can teach all this, specifically this. Nope.
And I don’t know if I will want to do this again…
